In a year that has been a challenge for us all, acts of kindness shine through. We were absolutely thrilled to receive this magnificent cake from home buyers, Barbara and Gib at Canal Walks in Nantwich who presented it to Tesni as they were so pleased with their new home. Their grandson, who is obviously very talented, made the cake and we can vouch that it tasted as delicious as it looked. It did seem a shame to cut it though! Thank you from all of us at Tesni for this thoughtful gift. We really appreciated it and we hope all our residents, staff and followers have had a happy and safe festive season – Best Wishes to everyone for 2021!

Year 4 Students from local schools in Nantwich came to our development to take part in a Time Capsule competition.

The Mold based firm was nominated for its commission of the Tesni Light, now installed in a Tesni Home, by Welsh design duo Freshwest. The design was inspired by Tesni’s solar energy data generated from the office HQ’s which fit perfectly with the company’s environmental ethos.  The designer and Tesni’s marketing manager provided educational talks about the project to students at Glyndwr University and Ysgol Maes Garmon thanks to additional funding from A&B Cymru.

A SHINING example of green living, new homes built by a Mold-based company include a special light installation designed by artists from West Wales to reflect the eco-friendly credentials of the properties.

Tesni and partners are hosting a preview evening at the Marches School on Wednesday 15^th February at 6pm, to showcase the plans for the forthcoming School Eco-Dome project.

Our Oswestry view home is now open to the public!

The timber frames of both dwellings at Tibberton have now been erected. These homes will be ready for viewings in early Summer of this year.

Despite bad weather conditions our contractors, Williams Homes (Bala) Ltd, have progressed well on-site.

It is expected that the official opening of the Show home will be April this year! With the rest of the development expected to be completed by July.

Tesni are happy to announce that the appeal for our site in Trefriw has been allowed and planning permission for 8 dwellings adjacent to Bryn Derw on Crafnant Road has been granted.

The inspectorate decided in favour of the development for various reasons, including: the land is an allocated housing site in the Eryri Local Development Plan, being inside the settlement boundary and within the estimated capacity for the site.

Tesni are happy to announce that they have chosen Williams Homes (Bala) Limited as their contractors for the development of six high specification homes on Morda Road in Oswestry.

Williams Homes (Bala) Ltd will be managing the construction and all on-site activity. They have been chosen due to their expertise and experience with this type of development and their excellent reputation within the building industry.

Tesni are delighted to announce that our residential site on Broughton Road, Crewe has been approved through an appeal. The site includes the erection of 124 dwellings including 38 affordable units, associated highways and open amenity space.

The appeal was allowed, with the inspector coming to the conclusion that the site produced “limited erosion of the intrinsic character and beauty of the countryside.” It was also recognised that the “serious shortfall in housing land supply” was a major factor.

Tesni Homes is pleased to announce that our appeal against the refusal by Cheshire East Council of 35 houses on Clay Lane in Haslington, has been successful. The Planning Inspectorate has approved the scheme based on the supply of housing land in the borough not being up to date and concluding the proposal as representing a sustainable development.

We have just received full planning for the development of our two high specification eco homes in Tibberton Shropshire. Garvey Demolition Limited have now successfully cleared the site at Glenworth Place in Oswestry, ready for the development of our six executive detached family homes.

This year the 300 seater venue of Y Tabernacl in Machynlleth, housed in the Museum of Modern Art Wales, has been sponsored by Tesni Homes. It will be the home for a variety of acts and events throughout the three days including: Josie Long, Mark Watson, Tony Law and David Doherty as well as the annual art class in Portrait Drawing.

Linden House is now producing its own electricity, thanks to the new solar panels that have been placed on the south facing roof. This was set up to improve the sustainability credentials of the building but also to reaffirm our commitment as a group to green energy.
